Ice Cream Van Safety
· Look both ways before crossing the road.
· Always walk never run to and from the van.
· Never climb onto the ice cream van.
· Cross behind the ice cream van, Never in front of it.
· Make sure the ice cream van has stopped before coming towards the vehicle.
· Always tell an adult where you are going before you go to the ice cream van.
Know the Green Cross Code
· Find a safe place to cross, and then stop.
· Stand on the pavement near the kerb.
· Look all around for traffic and listen.
· If traffic is coming, let it pass, look all around again.
· When there is no traffic near, walk straight across the road.
· Keep looking and listening for traffic while you cross.
